Quantum continues to improve its technology and relationships with key software providers.  We believe this is important as software is what drives hardware technology.

Quantum has more Symantec Integration than products such as DataDomain.  They also have Full OST v.11 support, Accent allows for distributed de-duplication across WAN connections, and Direct Path to Tape – DXi can migrate data to tape, DataDomain doesn’t have tape creation capabilities.

If you thinking about integrating Quantum technology with CommVault Software -CDR integration for immediate access to replicated data is included with Quantum and that’s just makes sense.

Last, we want to share with you that Quantum has some very nice reporting and management tools built into their product. DXi Advanced Reporting provides details of system capacity and performance for up to 6 years of data.
